(FOOTPATH No. 9, BARNSTAPLE)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
The order came into force on Tuesday 4 November 2025 and would have expired on Sunday 3 May 2026.
By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until Tuesday 3 November 2026 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
No persons or cyclists shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
Public right of way affected:
FOOTPATH No. 9, BARNSTAPLE From the Long Bridge, heading south for approximately 120m

There is no alternative route.
The closure is necessary to continue redevelopment works.
