TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.

From:  Wednesday 25 March 2026
 
To:      Thursday 24 September 2026

The order came into force on Wednesday 25 March 2026 and would have expired on Monday 24 September 2026. By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until 24 September 2027 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

No persons shall proceed on the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that path. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

There is no alternative route.

The temporary closure is necessary in the interest of public safety.
