DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL

(BRIDLEWAY NO. 13 & 28, ASHREIGNEY)

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.

The order came into force on Wednesday 1st October 2025 and would have expired on Wednesday 1st April 2026.

By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until Thursday 1st October 2026 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

No persons, riders or cyclists shall proceed on the section of the affected paths except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
Public right of way affected:

BRIDLEWAY NO. 13 & 28, ASHREIGNEY, for the full length of BR13 and eastern half of BR28.

There are no alternative routes.

The closure is necessary for public safety during tree felling works.
