(FOOTPATH No. 1, COLYTON)

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.

The above Order, which came into force on Thursday 23 April 2026, has been extended by the Secretary of State until Thursday 22 April 2027 or until completion of the works, whichever is the sooner

No persons shall proceed on the following public right of way except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of way. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

Public Right of Way affected:

Colyton Public Footpath No. 1, at the footbridge only

Colyton Footpath 1 temporary closure map

There is no alternative route.

The closure is necessary in the interest of public safety.
