TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From: Tuesday 21 April 2026
To: Tuesday 20 October 2026
No persons shall proceed on the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that path. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
Public right of way affected:
FOOTPATH No. 2, BRANSCOMBE – from junction with Footpath No.1, Branscombe eastwards for full length
FOOTPATH No. 16 (Part), BEER – from junction with Branscombe Footpath No.2 for 420m up to route to beach at Under Hooken.

The alternative route is via Footpath No.1 and Bridleway No.14, Branscombe, & Bridleway No.6, and Footpath No.9, Beer.
The temporary closure is necessary in the interest of public safety.
