DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL
(FOOTPATH NO. 36, NEWTON AND NOSS)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
The order came into force on Monday 9 June 2025 and would have expired on Monday 8 December 2025
By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until Monday 8 June 2026 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
No persons shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
Public rights of way affected:
Footpath No. 36, Newton and Noss for its entire length.

There is an alternative route along newton and Noss, Footpath No. 28.
The closure is necessary due to a landslip in the area.
