(FOOTPATH NO. 13, NEWTON AND NOSS)

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.

The order came into force on Monday 27 May 2024 and would have expired on Wednesday 25 September 2024

By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of her powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until Monday 26 May 2025 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

No persons shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
Public rights of way affected:

Footpath No. 13, Newton and Noss from Doctors steps to The Boat House.

There is an alternative route using Yealm Road and Riverside Road West. The closure is necessary to enable repair works caused from a landslide in the area.
