The Department for Education (DfE) has announced new support for inclusive practice in early years settings. This includes the Inclusive Early Years Fund (IEYF). Devon County Council will receive around £440,000 in July 2026 to distribute to early years providers.

We are inviting all providers to provide some feedback on our proposal to combine all requests for support, services and funding into one streamlined process which will reduce paperwork and application processes. Consultation closes 19 June.

One Cornwall South West Institute for Teaching (SWIFT) are open to applications for the next NPQEYL cohort. This qualification is primarily aimed at leaders qualified to at least level 3 with a full and relevant qualification.
