The sum of £13,000 has already been approved for this project.

Unfortunately the Tenders were all higher than expected and therefore a further £4,000 is required to cover the additional costs. Based on the analysis of the tender returns NPS have advised that the lowest tender does represent value for money.

Approval is requested to increase the allocation for this project by £4,000 to £17,000, funded from the Capital Maintenance Contingency Fund.
