Volunteers Day – Marshland Management

Help remove alder and willow scrub from the marsh to benefit Stover’s summer dragonfly species. Wear wellies!


Sunday 28th : 10am – 4pm

Volunteers Day – Grassland Management

We will be cutting and raking last year’s herbage in preparation for the Spring. This will benefit the flowering plants and butterfly species such as the pearl-bordered fritillary.


Guided walks along with Family and Children’s Events are free unless a price is stated. However there are limited places which must be booked in advance.

It is essential that children booked onto an activity have a responsible adult present with a maximum of 4 children per adult.

There is a car parking charge of £1.70 for 2 hours and £3.50 for all day. Charges apply from dawn till dusk.

Why not join our growing army of conservation volunteers on the last Sunday of every month between September and April. Tasks are varied and all tools are provided. No special skills are needed – just bring along lunch and old clothes.
