Our events have limited places which must be booked in advance.
It is essential that children booked onto a Children’s Activity have a responsible adult present throughout, with a maximum of 4 per adult.

Follow the relevant link to book via Eventbrite. Please note that Eventbrite places a small non-refundable booking charge on top of our price. We are not able to offer refunds on our events unless we cancel, so please be sure that you would like to attend before booking.

There is a car parking charge of £2 for 2 hours and £4 for all day (payable via cash/card/RingGo). Charges apply from dawn until dusk.

We would like to invite you to one of our virtual sessions to see the new educational activities we’ve added to our learning programme, as well as show you the most popular sessions we already offer, which we feel could complement your teaching programmes.
Our sessions are suitable for reception up to year 6, in a variety of subjects including: Science, Geography, History and English. We can also adapt sessions for older, and SEND students.

Sunday 30 November – 11am – 1pm — Christmas Naturemake at Stover
Join us at the fabulous Stover Centre for a Festive Naturemake workshop. Come along and create magical Christmas decorations and models. Forage from our enchanting range of natural materials from near and far, curated to inspire and create your designs. Use beautiful dried flowers tiny shells and acorn cups to make miniature Elf houses , winter wonderlands Santa sleighs, Cheeky reindeer or tree decorations to take home. Our workshops are so much fun for all ages, crafters from 4 yrs + to Adult makers welcome.
£22 per head or 2 makers for £40.

Bring a candle, join in the festivities and give your vocal cords an airing. Join the Newton Abbot Salvation Army Band and sing carols around the bonfire. A hot mulled drink and mince pies are provided.
£4 per person, under 3s free.
Volunteers’ days
Why not join our growing army of conservation volunteers on the last Sunday of every month between September and April. Tasks are varied and all tools are provided. No special skills are needed – just bring along lunch and old clothes. See our volunteering page for more details.
