DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL

(FOOTPATHS No. 63 & 64, and BRIDLEWAY No. 65, SIDMOUTH)

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.

From:  Monday 27 April 2026

To:      Monday 26 October 2026

No persons and/or horse riders shall proceed on the sections of the affected paths except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to those lengths of paths. The order will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

Public rights of way affected:

FOOTPATHS No. 63 & 64, and BRIDLEWAY No. 65, SIDMOUTH

Footpath 63 – for full length.

Footpath 64 – from northern end down to junction with Footpath 67.

Bridleway 65 – from junction with Footpath 63 at northern end to junction with Footpath 67.

There is no alternative route.

The closure is necessary to enable woodland management works
