The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) has published a new guide to the Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) in early years settings. EYPP briefings session dates to be announced soon.

The Department for Education (DfE) Early Education and Childcare Provider Regional Roadshows for group-based setting leaders and managers have returned for 2025.  The South West roadshow will run on 3 June in Bristol.

The NHS Oral Health Improvement Team are hosting free 1.5 hour online training sessions throughout 2025. The training is aimed at anyone who supports or cares for children of varying ages (parents, teachers, carers, support workers, enablers).

Ofsted has launched a consultation on a new approach to inspection and reporting on education providers, including early years providers. The Early Years and Childcare Service will be running 2 virtual sessions on Friday 21st March and Monday 24th March with Jane Burchall, a Senior HMI with Ofsted, who will discuss the proposals in further detail.
