Childminder recruitment and retention consultation – feedback from all areas of the childcare sector required
The DfE are consulting on proposals to support childminder recruitment and retention and support the role of childminder agencies in the sector. They are seeking views on their proposals, as well as gathering evidence on how they can best support childminders in future. Please give us your views and complete the survey by 10 May.

Ofsted- curriculum roadshow 20 March 2024
This half day event will offer the opportunity to learn more about the Best Start in Life research reviews, what an effective curriculum for communication and language, PSED and physical development looks like in the early years, and how the prime areas of learning are looked at during an inspection.

The new Early Years Educator criteria will come into effect from September 2024. New learners enrolling on a qualification from September 2024 should check whether it is listed on the early years qualifications list.
