Academic calendar 2026/27

The Academic calendar 2026-2027 has been finalised and uploaded to Resource Documents under the header ‘Early Years Funding – all ages’.

Providers can set their own term dates, so the calendar is intended to be used as a guide. We have shown the maximum number of hours that can be claimed in each funding period to try and prevent children from running out of funding prior to the end of the academic year. You will need to calculate the funding that you require for each child, each term/funding period, as the number of hours will be dependent on their individual pattern of attendance. Please note that the headcount weeks may be subject to change.

We will be adding some ‘Frequently asked questions’ to the FAQs tab for information once they have been finalised.
