Decision to extend the contract for ESPO324-16 – Cash Collection, Cash in Transit Services and Ticket Replenishment following a review of the service and the supplier maintaining costs and services for the extension period.

Decision Taken:

To extend the contract to the below organisation for the provision of the above contract. The extension will commence on 7th April 2019, for the period of 24 Months until 6th April 2021

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

The decision has been taken on the basis of supplier(s) achieving the highest overall score within a best value tender (optimum combination of whole-life costs and quality) in line with the European Procurement Directives award procedure of Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT).

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

An options appraisal was conducted and accepted as offering best value to the authority.

There is no conflict of interest in the award of this contract.
