Decision to award the contract for CP2190-22 Connecting the Culm – Managing Big Problems in Small Places – part of the Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovation Programme following a Formal Request for Quotation process.

To award a contract to the below organisation for the provision of the above contract. The contract will commence on 1st April 2022, for the period of 3 Months.

Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

The decision has been taken on the basis of supplier achieving a satisfactory overall score for a best value tender (optimum combination of whole-life costs and quality) in line with the European Procurement Directives award procedure of Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT).

Summary of Alternatives or Options considered and rejected:

A competitive process was undertaken during which three suppliers were invited to submit bids as part of the formal quotation process. A single bid was received, which was formally evaluated and a decision to accept a single quotation was taken in accordance with the procedures set out in the Authority’s Procedure for Tenders and Contracts.
