Software spend
To obtain accurate information on Devon County Council’s total spend on software we would need to contact each service area then ask each individual service area to go through all their budgets to extract the information which would then need to be collated.
From our preliminary assessment, we estimate that compliance with this request would exceed the appropriate costs limit under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 which is £450 or 18 hours of officer time.

The headcount is 5,007, and the FTE is 4,319. These figures do not include schools staff.
