Provision of disabled parking spaces in residential areas is made on request for eligible applicants in line with Policy.
In non-residential settings such as town centres, disabled parking provision is considered as part of comprehensive reviews of parking, details of current reviews are online at Traffic Regulation Orders

Fines are not issued for the misuse of disabled parking bays. Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) contravention code 40 is used when a car is ‘parked in a designated disabled person’s parking place without displaying a valid disabled person’s badge’. More general information about that is available online.
