A Tramper mobility scooter is available to hire at Stover allowing users to explore the Park using a network of paths.
In order to hire the Tramper, you will need to become a Countryside Mobility member.
There are 3 levels of membership available:
- Annual membership: £15
- 2 week Taster membership: £5
- Single use: £3
There is also a £2.50 per hour hire fee. Please note that we are only able to accept cash for the membership and hire fees.
As part of the membership application process, you will receive some training on how to use the Tramper. This will last approximately 15 minutes and is a short familiarisation session to make sure all the Tramper’s functions and controls are understood.
Becoming a member will also provide you with the opportunity to use a Tramper at various other sites across the South West and beyond. Click here to see a full list of Tramper hire locations.

You will need to contact us to make a booking each time you’d like to use the Tramper. Call us on 01626 835 236 or email stover@devon.gov.uk with your name, contact number, your preferred time and the duration you would like to hire the Tramper for. Please let us know if you have existing membership or would like to sign up to the scheme when booking.
