Our events have limited places which must be booked in advance.
It is essential that children booked onto a Children’s Activity have a responsible adult present throughout, with a maximum of 4 per adult.

There is a car parking charge of £2 for 2 hours and £4 for all day (payable via cash/card/RingGo). Charges apply from dawn until dusk.

Join us at 9.30am for the Launch of our new e-bike charger and community bike maintenance stand!
Doctor Bike sessions – repairs and servicing
These sessions are free, but there is a small charge for any parts required (cash or card accepted).
Adult Cycle confidence sessions: 1 hour.
Smoothie bike – Make fruit smoothies using pedal power! – No need to book.

This presentation provides a brief history of the Granite Lodge and the life and times of the people who called it home.
Your ticket will provide entry to the talk, alongside a hot drink and biscuit.
A signed copy of ‘Stover Granite Lodge: Somebody’s home for over 100 years’ by Professor Peter Brooks will be available for purchase on the day for £10 (cash only).

This is the final Heritage walk in the series led by Dartmoor’s Daughter, funded by the The National Lottery Heritage Fund, as part of the Restoring Stover Park Project.
We have tiered ticket prices available so you can pay the ticket price that sits most comfortably with your household income level. Join a local expert and discover the fascinating world of the toadstool and its relations.

Thursday 30th October – 10.30am – 12.30pm — Children’s activity – Toddler Forest Fun
Join us for some fun in the forest. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy around the campfire at the end of the session.
£4 per toddler – for ages 2 – 5yrs.
Friday 31st October – 6.30pm – 8.30pm — Family Halloween Trail
Join us on a spooky trail around the park after dark. Followed by a hot chocolate around the campfire.
£4 per person, under 3s free
All groups must have a torch to take part in the trail. Please arrive between 6.30pm and 8pm to start the trail at staggered intervals.
December
Tuesday 9th December – 7pm – 8.30pm — Christmas Carols at Stover
Bring a candle, join in the festivities and give your vocal cords an airing. Join the Newton Abbot Salvation Army Band and sing carols around the bonfire. A hot mulled drink and mince pies are provided.
£4 per person, under 3s free.
Volunteers’ days
Why not join our growing army of conservation volunteers on the last Sunday of every month between September and April. Tasks are varied and all tools are provided. No special skills are needed – just bring along lunch and old clothes. See our volunteering page for more details.
