SLCN and SEMH network meetings – Language and behaviour (online)
This network meeting is free of charge to all Devon maintained and academy schools.

In this network meeting, advisory staff from the communication and interaction and SEMH team have collaborated together to develop support for schools to enable staff to confidently explore the links between language difficulties and behaviour to support you to find solutions and develop high quality first teaching provision within your school.
Training objectives
- continue to develop confidence in recognising the interaction between SLCN and SEMH
- to use the GRT to develop a plan of support for children and young people with SLCN and SEMH
- to share a bank of strategies for children and young people with SLCN and SEMH to support high quality first teaching provision in schools
