School leadership update session – statutory assessment KS1/2
This session is aimed at Headteachers, School Leaders and Governors. It will include information about the expectations and any changes to the 2023 statutory assessment at KS1/2 and the implications of this, with a focus on avoiding maladministration.
Headteachers have significant responsibilities in relation to the various statutory assessments across the primary phase and the aim of the session is to synthesise and summarise key guidance from the DfE and to support Headteachers to manage their responsibilities effectively.
Your attendance at the session will also provide an opportunity for explanation, discussion and to ask any questions you may have.
This session will be delivered via Microsoft Teams and led by Rebecca Cosgrave, Lead English Adviser and Alice McShane, School Effectiveness Team Lead.
