DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL
(FOOTPATH No. 5, BERRYNARBOR)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
The order came into force on Sunday 4 May 2025 and would have expired on Tuesday 4 November 2025.
By direction of the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the order shall continue in force until Monday 4 May 2026 or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
No persons shall proceed on the section of affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path.
Public rights of way affected:
FOOTPATH NO.5, BERRYNARBOR, Broadsands Stairs
Berrynarbor Footpath 5 temporary closure map
There is no alternative route.
The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a recent landslip.
