Provider Self Update
The Provider Self Update (PSU) is a data collection tool for gathering information about early years and childcare provision that was introduced last February. Thank you to all those who have completed their Provider Self Update. This has enabled parents to see what provision is available in their local area on Find Childcare in Devon and has enabled us to assess the sufficiency of provision and plan for the next year.
We now need to make sure that this information is kept up to date. We will be asking you to check your details regularly.
Funded providers are asked to check their details once a term. In Summer and Autumn term, this can be done at the same time you are in the portal completing your funding information (headcount). In Spring term (January/February) this can be done at the same time you complete your Early Years Census information. We will send you an email in February when it is time to complete your Early Years Census and update your Provider Self Update.
If you accept the early years funding at your out of school or holiday clubs, please email: childcareinfo@devon.gov.uk so that we can indicate this to parents on Find Childcare in Devon.
Non-funded providers are asked to check their details every six months. We will send you an email if you have not updated or checked your information in the last six months.
If there are no changes, you can click a button to say there are ‘No Changes Required’ which will indicate to us that you have checked your record.
