Paediatric first aid training
The Early Years and Childcare Service provide a 12 hour paediatric first aid course consistent with the criteria set out in Annex A of the EYFS.
This course comprises of:
- 6 hours independent study (eLearning)
- 6 hours skills assessment (face to face in small groups of 10-12 maximum)

- Saturday 27th April 2024 (9.30am – 4.30pm) – Cullompton Community Centre
- Saturday 18th May 2024 (9.30am – 4.30pm) – Compton Valley Nursery and Preschool, Marldon
- Wednesday 26th June 20224 (9.30am – 4.30pm) – Broadclyst Victory Hall, Nr. Exeter
- Saturday 20th July 2024 (9.30am – 4.30pm) – Venue tbc (North Devon)
- Saturday 28th September (9.30am – 4.30pm) – Venue tbc (Exeter / East Devon)
- Thursday 10th October 2024 (9.30am – 4.30pm) – Venue tbc
- Saturday 30th November 2024 (9.30am – 4.30pm) – Venue tbc (South Devon)
Who can attend?
This training is suitable for early years and childcare practitioners, including childminders.
