New – fully funded safer recruitment training for early years and childcare providers
We are pleased to let you know that safer recruitment training is now available on the Shop for early years and childcare practitioners.
The training is in the form of a 35 minute video presentation and there is a downloadable PowerPoint slide which contains links from the presentation. The video shares information on the safer recruitment process for early years and childcare settings – this includes all Ofsted registered early years settings (childminders with assistants and Wraparound care providers).
It covers:
- purpose of safer recruitment
- statutory/non statutory guidance that supports settings with safer recruitment
- the safer recruitment process
- other considerations
Who is it for?
The training is for all Ofsted registered early years settings, childminders with assistants and wraparound care providers. It will also be helpful for Ofsted registered activity providers on the voluntary childcare register.
This training is not suitable for schools and colleges.
