Key findings and recommendations from the quality assurance thematic review
Recognition and response to child neglect including; naming child neglect, tools and strategies and the launch of revised Devon SCP multi-agency child neglect strategy & toolkit
Multi-agency collaboration and information sharing including strengthening barriers to multi-agency collaboration, professional curiosity, thinking the unthinkable, information sharing and escalation/case disagreement
Special Guest Jane Wiffin with headline findings from the child neglect thematic CSPR (Child Safeguarding Practice Review)
Addressing and overcoming barriers to effective intervention including relational approaches, trauma informed practice, shame/blame, home visiting, ‘start again syndrome’, impact chronologies/multi-agency chronologies
