In light of three recent serious incident notifications regarding culminative and serious neglect in Devon, the Devon Children’s Social Work Learning Academy have organised a conference focused on recognising and responding to neglect.
The event aims to bring together professionals from various fields to discuss best practices, share insights, and develop strategies to address this critical issue.
Please join us for an immersive conference, facilitated by drama-based training company, Afta Thought Drama Based Training for the Workplace – Afta Thought. For over 30 years, Afta Thought have been creating bespoke drama-based training sessions for the workplace, using actors and skilled facilitators to deliver sessions that are impactful and memorable.
This conference will focus on:
- Assessing cumulative harm
- Consent and managing resistant engagement
- Developing professional curiosity around neglect
- SMART planning for neglect
