Fully funded multi-agency learning events: ‘Thresholds, Duties and Family Rights’
We’re looking forward to collaborating with our colleagues at the Centre of Family Safeguarding Practice in Hertfordshire County Council to offer the learning events listed below.
We’d love for you to join us in person on September 30th in Exeter if possible. Should you be unable to attend any online events, feel free to come to the in-person event on September 30th. Likewise, attending an online session exclusively is also completely acceptable.
Learning event aim:
- To provide a greater multi-agency understanding of thresholds, duties and family rights for family safeguarding; hear the views of our multi-agency partners in respect of the way we work together
Session outline:
- Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023 and increased expectations for greater collaboration to strengthen multi-agency working
- Explore what help, support and protection is in Devon
- Reminder of the law and legislative guidance in respect to how families should be helped and supported
- Consider whether help and support is effective in Devon – is it preventing the need for more significant intervention in family life?
- Reflect on our culture, values and how we demonstrate this to families
