We are delighted to let you know that our winter 2025 Holiday Activities & Food Programme is now live and there are plenty of spaces available for children in Devon.

The new Ofsted inspection framework will be implemented in November 2025. To support early years and childcare providers in preparing for these changes, Ofsted Senior HMI will be delivering two live briefing sessions in November (14 Nov and 17 Nov).

We would like to congratulate two of our Devon Childminders, one based in East Devon and one based in South Devon, on achieving ‘Outstanding’ in their recent Ofsted inspections. Well done!

It’s Funding Friday and this week we have information from ‘BlueSpark Foundation’ and ‘The Yapp Charitable Trust’.

The Early Years South West Stronger Practice Hub are pleased to announce some new (fully funded) CPD opportunities available to early years and childcare practitioners. Training includes: ‘Selective communicators online webinars’ and a 6-part series on Neurodiversity in the early years network.
