New RISE Reception Network launches in Devon and Dorset

Reception teachers, leaders and Early Years professionals (working in a reception class) across Devon are invited to join a new professional network designed to support collaboration and share best practice.

The RISE Reception Network, led by Broadclyst Community Primary School, has recently been established following the school’s designation as a Lead School for Devon and Dorset. The network aims to bring together practitioners from across the region to reflect on current priorities and engage in evidence-informed professional dialogue.

The network will provide opportunities for Reception practitioners and school leaders to connect, share effective approaches and strengthen support for Early Years education across the county.

Practitioners are encouraged to attend to explore key topics, exchange ideas and contribute to this growing community of practice.

When is it taking place?

The first in-person network meeting will take place on 15 June (9.30am – 1.30pm) at Broadclyst Community Primary School.

Arrival from 9am for tea/coffee and refreshments with session to start at 9.30am.
