New digital service to check early years qualifications now live

The Department for Education (DfE)  are pleased to announce that their ‘Check an Early Years Qualification service’ is now live.

This service allows managers to:

• check if an early year’s qualification achieved in England is approved as full and relevant by the DfE
• confirm if someone who holds this qualification can count in staff:child ratios at level 2, 3 or 6 in an early year’s setting in England
