Change to the EYFS framework – 4th January 2024

From the 4th January 2024, two revised frameworks will replace the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Providers are responsible for ensuring they follow the framework for their provider type. Please familiarise yourselves with the relevant new framework.

The two new frameworks are:

• EYFS statutory framework for childminders
• EYFS statutory framework for group and school-based providers

The EYFS framework also includes: Early years qualification requirements and standards – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
