Devon’s SEND Local Offer
Joint assessment meetings (JAMs)
A JAM is lead by an educational psychologist and forms part of the statutory education, health and care (EHC) needs assessment of a child or young person.
The meetings are an opportunity for parents, carers and children to meet with professionals to make sure there is a shared understanding of the child’s needs and the support required to meet those needs.
