This project formed part of the schools maintenance programme in 2012/13.

On completion of works the roof integrity failed in a number of areas.  Following extensive investigations it has been found that part of the problem relates to the reuse of existing flashings and edge trim to flat roofed areas which did not form part of the original scope of works.  It is therefore proposed to undertake this additional work at the same time as the contractor attends site to rectify defects.

Therefore it is proposed to allocate the sum of £72,000 towards the above scheme from the DDA Contingency Fund.
