£62,000 has already been approved for this project at St Michael’s.

Unfortunately this summer appears to be an extremely busy period for roofing contractors and it is difficult to get them to return tender prices. Market forces appear to be forcing the cost of roofing works higher than anticipated and a further £8500 is required for this project. The tender price is still considered to represent value for money.

Approval is sought for an additional £8500, to be funded from the Capital Maintenance Contingency Fund.
