Summary of Matter or Issue Requiring Decision:

The introduction of a Permit for Works Scheme throughout the county of Devon

Decision Taken:

On 9 October 2019, DCC Cabinet approved the introduction of a Permit for Works Scheme throughout the county of Devon. The introduction of this scheme requires a legal order, for which a full statutory consultation period was held. The consultation period was open for 7 weeks from 21 October 2019.

The consultation received 22 responses. Small adjustments have been made to the final Permit Plan document as a result of the consultation responses and will be in place in advance of the scheme going live on 2/3/2020

All adjustments were made in response to make the scheme plan wording stronger. No major adjustments to the basic objectives of the plan have been made or were required.
