The introduction of a Permit for Works Scheme throughout the county of Devon
On 9 October 2019, DCC Cabinet approved the introduction of a Permit for Works Scheme throughout the county of Devon. The introduction of this scheme requires a legal order, for which a full statutory consultation period was held. The consultation period was open for 7 weeks from 21 October 2019.
The consultation received 22 responses. Small adjustments have been made to the final Permit Plan document as a result of the consultation responses and will be in place in advance of the scheme going live on 2/3/2020
Approved by Meg Booth after consultation with Councillor Hughes on 24 December 2019.
All adjustments were made in response to make the scheme plan wording stronger. No major adjustments to the basic objectives of the plan have been made or were required.
