Summary of Reason(s) for Decision Taken:

A project already exists to reconfigure the boiler flues at this School. The boilers have subsequently failed and now require replacement. It is therefore intended to extend the scope of work to include the full replacement of the boilers and flues at an additional cost of £42,000.
Authority is requested to allocate a further £42,000 to this project, funded from the Capital Maintenance Contingency pot.
