Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs)

I am writing to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding Low Traffic Neighbourhoods or “LTNs” in your local authority. A low traffic neighbourhood (LTN) is a residential area, bordered by main roads (roads that are often used by buses, lorries and non-local traffic), where “through” motor vehicle traffic is discouraged or removed, while allowing access for pedestrians and cyclists.

I would be grateful if you would supply me with the following information that relates to any LTN schemes or LTNs by other names in your local authority.

Devon County Council have no LTNs installed in Devon. However the total expenditure spent on third party consultancy fees relating to LTNs from the start of 2020 up to and including May 2022 was £16,421.

How much has the local authority spent on installing LTNs from the start of 2020 up to and including May 2022? (Please provide a full list of LTNs installed in your local authority, the month and year in which they were installed, and their cost.)

Zero

How many LTNs have been altered since their original installation in your local authority up to and including May 2022? Please provide the month and year of uninstallation, as well as location. If funds have been spent on alterations, please state how much has been spent.

None

How many LTNs have since been uninstalled or removed in your local authority up to and including May 2022? Please provide the month and year of uninstallation, as well as location. If funds have been spent on uninstallation of LTNs, please state these costs.

How many fines have been issued to people for breach of LTNs in your local authority from January 2020 up to and including May 2022? How much money does that equate to in total?
