1. How do you provide help to non-English speakers?
We provide translations or interpreters via external agencies where there is a language need.
2. Do you plan on releasing a tender related to interpreting and translation services?
Yes, we are considering going out to tender for interpreting and translation services. We do not currently have a timeframe for this. Organisations interested in finding out about tendering opportunities should register with the Supplying the South West portal: Supplying the South West Portal. In addition the local authority may draw on providers from the Crown Commercial Services framework: Language Services – CCS.
