Devon County Council believes compliance with all remaining questions would exceed the appropriate costs limit under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 which is £450 or 18 hours of officer time. This is because we would need to cross reference all the data provided to us by the District councils against the Government system.

To estimate the time it would take, we have looked at East Devon where there are 371 separate entries that would need to be cross referenced. 1 record took approximately 4 minutes to complete, with no issues on that record. Therefore in the best case scenario a member of staff could complete 15 records in an hour. As such, for East Devon alone it would take over 24 hours to find and extract the data required.

We advise you to contact the District and Unitary councils in Devon, who may be able to provide you with this information.
