Please can you provide figures for the income generated from and costs associated with glass recycling and cullet production in Devon for the last five years.
Devon County Council only holds minimal information which arises from a glass joint contract which covers Exeter, East, Mid, North, Teignbridge and DCC Recycling Centres feeding into those LA stockpiles.
Total income received is £1,142,000.63 from 1st Jan 2014. This is from the sale of glass only and does not include haulage.
This also includes costs of £5,299.29 which were incurred when the price of mixed glass was below zero
Please can you also provide figures for the impact of the UK governments reduced support for glass recycling.
