Due to a reduction of places required in centres as more and more children are being supported in their local schools we are reducing planned places in resources bases to take account for this. This means that the funding for places held centrally is being redirected to schools to follow learners against specified provision.

3 bases will be in place with reduced places

1 base (primary) will cease to be taking learners however specialist teacher remains supporting an area of schools

Specialist Education Services for deaf/hearing impaired is under review due to the reduction in need for specialist centre places due to increased resilience and support in mainstream settings to manage support for those children.
