Please can you tell me what information is provided to schools in relation to the process for supplying education records to parents, as opposed to Data Protection advice. Does DCC have any policy concerning the supply of Education records as per Section 3 of The Education (Pupil Information) (England) Regulations 2005.
Please can you tell me if any school has asked for any specific advice, or made any enquiry to DCC about the supply of Education Records in the last 3 months.
Devon County Council does not have a policy in relation to the supply of educational records under the Education (Pupil Information) (England) Regulations 2005. In any case, as these regulations apply directly to Schools themselves, it will be for them to inform their own policy locally. We can confirm that in the last 3 years, we have not provided specific guidance to schools on this issue.
