Community asset transfers

We should clarify that information relating to the for leisure and outdoor facilities listed are the responsibility of district, city and unitary councils and Devon County Council therefore do not hold this information.   We recommend that you contact the relevant councils depending upon the geographical area that you are interested in.  Contact details can be found on our website at: Neighbouring authorities

If possible, please also provide me with information concerning when the asset was transferred, the specific nature of the asset, the name and nature of the organisation who the asset was transferred to, the lease that the asset was transferred through, the length of the lease, if the recipients are still in ownership of the asset, and the contacts details of the recipients of the asset.

Details of the transfer are contained within the previous response referred to above.  Devon County Council do not hold information regarding the ongoing ownership of the asset and this can be obtained direct from Land Registry.   Their contact details can be found on their website at:

Further,  any personal contact details would be the personal information relating to that individual and is therefore exempt from disclosure pursuant to s.40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
