Please find attached a list of freehold properties and land disposed of by DCC from the commencement of budget year 2014/15 to the date of the information request (1.4.14 to 1.8.18). Details of sales receipts and new ownership are available in the public domain via the Land Registry website: https://www.land-search-online.co.uk/

– The date it was acquired
– Who was it acquired from?
– How much did it cost?
– Is it now classed as an investment property?

Response

Please find attached a list of acquisitions between the period 1.4.14 to 1.8.18. Again, details of purchase price are available in the public domain via the Land Registry website. For information, sites highlighted in yellow were purchased for NIL or £1.

3) How many land, building and heritage assets did the council have as of
a) the beginning of 2014/15
b) the date on which you received this request

Response

No complete count of land, building and heritage freehold assets was documented on 1.4.14. As at 28.8.18 DCC has 561 sites where it owns the freehold or is the main trustee and a further 31 school sites where DCC just owns the playing field documented on its property management system.

Devon County Council does not own any heritage assets as defined by Historic England, see https://historicengland.org.uk/advice/hpg/hpr-definitions/h/536274/
