Broadhempston Primary School has use of land owned by the Parish Council (PC) during the school day for play and other school activities. The land includes a hard playing area installed by Devon County Council (DCC) with lines painted on it for football, netball etc. There is a licence in place for this use between the PC and DCC which states that maintenance is a DCC responsibility.
However, since the licence was agreed, the school has become part of an Academy. There is a need for the lines to be re-painted. We need to establish who has responsibility for this.

Devon County Council does not hold this information. As the licence has not yet transferred to the Academy, Devon County Council will be making contact with the school to resolve this issue.
