Regarding the Fair Access Protocol (FAP) in place in Devon County Council (DCC) and data related to the use of this protocol.
Local authorities are required to agree a Fair Access Protocol to ensure that vulnerable children, especially those who are having difficulty securing a school place in-year, are allocated a place as quickly as possible.
This FOI request is a way of building up a broad evidence base to establish the ways in which Fair Access Protocols are used to support the reintegration of pupils from alternative provision to mainstream schools.
