Plympton Hill TTRO (TTRO2667802)

This request relates to the Temporary Traffic Regulation Order affecting Road Past Vealeholme / Plympton Hill (Ref: TTRO2667802) and the associated Deep Lane Cycle Bridge Scheme.

Please note, this was one of the traffic management options being considered to minimise impacts of diverted traffic during construction of the A38 pedestrian/cycle bridge and westbound slip road widening works; however, this TTRO has now been withdrawn. Discussions are ongoing between Devon County Council and Plymouth City Council regarding traffic management arrangements for the works.

Please provide the following information:

1. Any traffic modelling, transport assessments, or technical reports used to justify the closure of Road Past Vealeholme / Plympton Hill under TTRO2667802.

Traffic modelling has been carried out to assess the impacts of traffic management proposals at Deep Lane – this considered a mitigation option which included a Plympton Hill Northbound closure (under bridge section).

Please refer to this A38 Deep Lane TM option scenario impact assessments – Summary Report
