DCC enabled public EV chargepoints are operated using concessions contracts, with the majority of funding provided by the private sector. In 2021, the DELETTI contract delivering chargepoints in public car parks was awarded to Scottish Power. A maximum total contribution of up to £250,000 was made available, with the winning bidder chosen partly on the total contribution they would require. The majority of this funding was provided by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and a proportion of this funding required by the winning bidder (Scottish Power).
Other chargepoints enabled by DCC and operated by Wenea are fully funded by Wenea.

We have largely been in the delivery phase of EV projects to date, so do not hold this data for the previous 6 or 12 months currently.
7) How many parking spaces with public charging facilities did you provide across your local authority during the following years? (If unable to provide a break down please share total)
